Tubular battery bags (fabric of the "double cloth" type, with two consistent layers joined together every 17 mm by interchanging of the warp to form "pockets" which has undergone electrothermic treatment to give it a certain rigidity and to give the "pockets" a stable tubular form) cut into rectangular sizes for use as separators in accumulators for retaining the oxides and allowing the electrolyte to filter through, are classifiable under H. 59.16/17.
