CUSTOMS NOTIFICATION NO. 105/98 DT. 18-12-98

G.S.R. (E.): - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) read with rules 18 and 20 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995 and on the basis of the clarification of the designated authority published in Part I, Section 1 of the Gazette of India Extraordinary, dated the 9th December, 1998, the Central Government makes the following amendment in notification of the Government of India in the ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 81/97-Customs dated 24th October, 1997 namely: -

In the said notification, -

1. in the proviso, for the words and letters "Cytec Industries Inc., USA" the words and letters "Cytec Industries Inc., USA or Sterling Fibres Ltd., USA" shall be substituted;
2. in the Table, in column (3) against serial No. 1, for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely: -"Cytec Industries Inc. or Sterling Fibres Ltd., United States of America".
