CUSTOMS NOTIFICATION NO.76/1999 Dated 17th June. 1999
WHEREAS the Designated authority vide notification published in Part I, Section I of the Gazette of India Extraordinary, dated the 25th January, 1999, has initiated review in the matter of continuation of anti-dumping duty on Bisphenol-A, originating in or exported from Japan, imposed vide notification No.63/98-Customs dated 14th August, 1998 and has requested for extension of anti-dumping duty upto 10th March, 2000, pending the results of the review investigations.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975(51 of 1975) read with the second proviso to sub-section (5) and sub-section (6) of that section of the said Customs Tariff Act and rule 23 of the Customs Tariff, ((Identifiction, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury), Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination Injury) Rules, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No.63/98-Customs dated 14th August, 1998, namely:
In the said notification, after the opening paragraph, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely:
"2. This notification, shall be in force upto and inclusive of the 10th day of March 2000
