Seeks to amend certain Customs Tariff notifications issued under section 110 of the Finance Act, 2018 (13 of 2018) so as to align them with amended Customs Tariff.
G.S.R. (E)- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with section 110 of the Finance Act, 2018 (13 of 2018), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table below shall be amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, namely: -

Notification No. 11/2018-Customs, dated the 2nd February, 2018 [G.S.R.114 (E), dated the 2nd February, 2018] |
In the said notification, in the Table, -
(i) against serial number 1, in column (2), -
(a) for the figures “0713 10 00”, the figures “0713 10”, shall be substituted;
(b) for the figures “6204 31 00”, the figures “6204 31”, shall be substituted;
(c) for the figures “6204 62 00”, the figures “6204 62”, shall be substituted;
(d) for the figures “6206 30 00”, the figures “6206 30”, shall be substituted;
(ii) against serial number 51, for the entry in column (2), the entry, “All goods falling under tariff items 8517 12 11, 8517 12 19 and 8517 12 90.” shall be substituted. |

Notification No. 12/2018-Customs, dated the 2nd February, 2018 [G.S.R.115 (E), dated the 2nd February, 2018] |
In the said notification, in the Table, against serial number 2, in column (2), for the entry “2710 19 30”, the entry “2710 19 44, 2710 19 49”, shall be substituted. |
2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of January, 2020.
