G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, hereby makes following further amendments in the notifications of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), in the following manner, namely :-

(a) in the notification No.82/2017-Customs(NT), dated the 24th August,2017, published vide number G.S.R.1064 (E) dated the 24th August, 2017, -

(i) in Table 1, against Sl.No.4, in column (3), item (iv) shall be omitted;

(ii) in the Table 2, against Sl.No.7, -

(A) in column (3), the entry "Commissioner of Customs (Nhava Sheva-IV), Mumbai Zone-II" shall be omitted ;

(B) in column (4), the entry "Additional Commissioners, or Joint Commissioners, or Deputy Commissioners, or Assistant Commissioners, of Customs working under the control of Commissioner of Customs (Nhava Sheva-IV), Mumbai, Zone-II" shall be omitted;

(b) in the notification No.85/2017-Customs(NT), dated the 7th September,2017, published vide number G.S.R.1136 (E), dated the 7th September,2017, in the Table, after Sl.No.3 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:-
 

(c) in the notification No.92/2017-Customs(NT) , dated the 281h September, 2017, published vide number G.S.R.1210 (E), dated the 281h September,2017, in the Table, against Sl.No.3, in column (3), item (iv) shall be omitted.

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the 1st January, 2019.

S.R. 121O(E}, dated the 28th September, 2017 and was last amended vid e notification No. 24/ 2018- Customs (N.T.), dated the 28th March, 2018, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide number G.S.R.294(E}, dated the 28th March, 2018.
