Validity of DEPB licence extended upto Sept, 2005

G.S.R. 194(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 96/2004-Customs, dated the 17th September, 2004 namely:-

In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the words and figures "31st day of March, 2005", the words and figures "30th day of September, 2005" shall be substituted.

Note: The Notification No. 96/2004-Customs, dated the 17th September, 2004 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide G.S.R. 619 (E), dated the 17th September, 2004 and it was amended by notification No. 27/2005-Customs dated the 2nd March, 2005 published vide G.S.R. 148 (E), dated the 2nd March, 2005.
