Seeking to amend Notification No. 16/2000-Cus. Dated 1.3.2000 so as to revise details of the EXIM Policy Public Notice number to in Sl.No. 48 of the Notification
G.S.R. (E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 16/2000-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2000, namely: -

In the said notification, in the Table, against serial No. 48, in column (3), in Explanation, in clause (ii), for the words, figures, letters and brackets "Handbook of Procedures, 1997-2002 Volume-II published vide Public Notice No. 2 (RE-2000)/97-2000 dated the 31st March, 2000" the words, figures, letters and brackets "Public Notice No. 19(RE-88)/1997-2002 dated 24th June, 1998 (as amended from time to time)" shall be substituted.
