CUS NTF NO. 43/2000 DATE 11/04/2000

To rescind the Notification No. 116/99-Customs dated 14.10.99 consequent to the imposition of final anti-dumping duty on high impact polystyrene (HIPS) and general purpose polystyrene (GPPS), originating in or exported from Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand.
In exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (2) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) read with rule 13 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central Government hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 116/99- Customs, dated the 14th October, 1999, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide G.S.R. 701 (E), dated the 14th October, 1999.
