To prescribe concessional rate of basic customs duty for Dead Burnt Magnesite of prescribed specifications, fused Magnesia and sea water magnesia and ArtemisininIn exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue),
No. 16/2000-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2000, namely:-
" In the said notification, in the Table,-
(a) after S. No. 51 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:-

| "51A. | 25.19 | 1. Dead burnt magnesite (DBM) having-
(a) magnesium oxide content not less than 92% by weight,
(b) silica content less than 4% by ; ' weight, and
(c) bulk density not less man 3.20 gm/cc
2. Fused magnesia
3. Sea water magnesia | 25% | - | 4"; |
(b) against S. No. 71, in column (3) for the word "Thymidine", the words "Thymidine, Artemisinin " shall be substituted;
(c) against S. No.230, for the entry in column (3), the entry "Parts (including ink cartridges with print head assembly and ink spray nozzle, but excluding populated printed circuit boards) of the machines of heading No. 84.71" shall be substituted;
(d) against S. No. 233, for the entry in column (2), the entry "32,84 or 96" shall be substituted; and
(e) against S. No. 240, for the entry in column (3), the entry "Stepper Motors for use in the manufacture of goods falling under heading No. 84.71" shall be substituted.
