In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 16/2000-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2000, namely:-

In the said notification,

(A) in the Table, -

(i) For S. No. "94" and the entries relating thereto, the following serial No. and the entries shall be substituted, namely, -

(g) Heat resistant paint used on cast iron items for ornamental fire place accessories. (h) Wood polish materials. (i) Ply films used for shrink - wrapping and cling wrapping of art wares:	Nil	Nil	10

(ii) for S.No. "344" and the entries relating thereto, the following serial No. and the entries shall be substituted, namely,-

(8) Coller stays, collar patties, butterfly and other garment stays including plastic stays. (9) Fusible embroidry motifs or prints. (10) Laces. (11) Badges including embroidered badges. (12) Valcro tape. (13) Embroidery threads."	Nil	Nil	83

(B) In ANNEXURE,-

(i) against condition No. 10, in sub-conditions (b), for the figures "2%" the figures "3%", shall be substituted.

(ii) against condition No. 83, in sub-conditions (b), for the figures "2%", the figures "3%", shall be substituted.
