Amendments in the Ntf. No. 21/2002-Cus, Dt. 01/03/2002 (5% Duty on Metallurgical Coke)
G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of the section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue),
No. 21/2002-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2002, namely:-
In the said notification, in the Table, for S. No. 71 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and the entries shall be substituted, namely:-

“71. | 27.04 | Metallurgical coke when imported by
a) by a manufacturer of pig iron or steel using a blast furnace or COREX technology or
b) by a manufacturer of ferro alloys | 5% | - | 5”. |
