Amendments in the notification regarding exempt certain specified goods from special CVD leviable on imported goods
G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it isnecessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments inthe notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department ofRevenue), No. 20/2006-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2006 which was published in theGazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 92(E) of the same date, namely:-

In the said notification,

(i) in the Table, S. Nos. 11 and 12 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted;

(ii) in paragraph 2, for the letter, words and figures “S. Nos. 17 and 28”, the letter, words and figures “S. Nos. 17, 28 and 28A” shall be substituted.

Note:- The principal notification No.20/2006-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2006 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 92(E), dated the 1st March, 2006 and was last amended vide notification No.7/2008-Customs, dated the 10th January, 2008 which was published vide number G.S.R. 24(E), dated the 10th January, 2008.
