Amendments in the Project import Regulations, 1986
G.S.R. (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 157 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the C entral Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Project Imports Regulations, 1986, namely :-
1. (1) These regulations may be called the Project Imports (Amendment) Regulations, 2010. (2)They shall come in to force on the 27th day of February, 2010.
2. In the Project Imp orts Regulations, 1986, in the Table,-
(i) against Sr. No. 3E, for the entry under column heading Name of the Plant or Project’, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
“(a) Digital cin ema development projects
(b) Digital head end project”;
(ii) after Sr. No. 3 E and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be inserted, namely:-

Note: The principal notification No. 230/1986-Customs, dated the 3rd April, 1986 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R . 580(E), dated the 3rd April, 1986 and was last amended vide number G.S.R. 127(E), dated th e 1st March, 2007.
