Amendments in the exemption notification to increase the BCD on certain iron and steel products
G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 12/2012- Customs, dated the 17th March, 2012, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 185(E), dated the 17th March, 2012, namely:-
In the said notification, in the Table,-
(i) for serial number 329A and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and the entries shall be substituted, namely:-

All goods other than goods mentioned against serial number 333B |

(ii) for serial number 330 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and the entries shall be substituted, namely:-

All goods other than the following:-
(i) goods mentioned against serial numbers 331, 332, 333, 333A, 333B and 334;
(ii) seconds and defectives of goods falling under Chapter 72 |
