Exemption to Polyvinyl Chloride Resin falling under sub-heading 3904.10 or 3904.21

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with rule 21 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Duty or Additional Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1985, the Central Government on the basis of findings of the designated authority, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I, Section 1 dated the 30th July, 1993, that there is dumping in respect of Polyvinyl Chloride Resin White Free Flowing Powder of all grades (other than paste, battery or emulsion grade) falling under sub-heading Nos. 3904.10 or 3904.21 of the First Schedule to the said Act (hereinafter referred to as the said goods), and having country of origin specified in column (2) of the Schedule annexed to this notification, hereby imposes, on the said goods when imported into India, an additional duty equivalent to rate specified in column (3) of the said Schedule :
