Anti Dumping Duty on Dead Burnt Magnesite (DBM)

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with rule 13 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-Dumping Duty on
Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury)Rules, 1995, the Central Government on the
basis of the preliminary findings of the designated authority, published in the Gazette of
India, Extraordinary, Part-I,Section-I, dated the 12th June, 1996, that there is dumping in
respect of Dead Burnt Magnesite (DBM) having MgO content ranging from 85% to 92% falling under
sub-heading 2519.90 of the First Schedule to the said Act, when exported from the People"s
Republic of China to India by the exporters mentioned in column (2) of the Table annexed to
this notification, hereby imposes on the said Dead Burnt Magnesite (DBM)having MgO content
ranging from 85% to 92% when imported into India, an anti-dumping duty at the rates specified
in column (3) in the said Table.
