Petroleum Refinery Goods - No dut on omports coin blanks imports by Govt. Mint - No Duty
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962
(52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 11/97-Customs dated the 1st March,1997 namely:-
(a) In the Tale below the said notification,-
(i) against S. No. 115A, in column (3), for the entry, the entry "Coin blanks imported by a
Mint of the Government of India" shall be substituted; and
(ii) after serial No.. 144 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted,
namely:-

(b) in the Annexure to the said Notification.-
(i) against condition No. 18A, for the entry, the entry "if the importer
furnishes an undertaking to the Assistant Commissioner of Customs that such coin
blanks shall be used only for the purpose of coining the coins in a Mint of the
Government of India," shall be substituted; and
(ii) after List 8, the following List shall be added, namely:-
