Electronic Components - Raw materials & parts eligible for duty convession modified/added

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 13/97 Customs dated the 1st March 1997, namely:-

In the Table below the said notification,-
(1) in LIST A,-

(i) against S. No. 59 for the entry in column (3), the entry "Lead Tabs / Paddle Tabs" shall be substituted.

(ii) against S. No. 87, for the entry in column (2), the entry "72, 73, 75, 81" shall be substituted and

(iii) after S. No. 93 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:-

(2) In LIST B, after S. No. 8 and the entries thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:-
