ANTI-DUMPING DUTY ON ACRYLONITRILE BUTADIENE RUBBER (NBR) ORIGINATING FROM GERMANY AND REPUBLIC OF KOREA

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with rule 13 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-Dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central Government, hereby imposes, on Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) falling under sub-heading No. 4002.59 of the list Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), originating in or exported from the country specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, when imported into India, an anti-dumping duty at the rate specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table.

2.This notification shall have effected upto and inclusive of the 30th day of July, 1997.

Explanation -

The anti-dumping duty imposed under this notification is based on the preliminary findings of the designated authority, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I, Section 1, dated the 30th December, 1996.
