CUS NTF 95/1997 DATED 19-12-1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section 25 of the customs Act 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following futher amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 31/97-Customs dated the 1st April 1997 namely:-

In the said Notification, in condition (iv) for the begining with the words "that the imports and exports" and ending with the brackets and word "(Indore)" the following should be substituted, namely;

"that the imports and exports are undertaken through sea at Bombay. Calcutta, Cochin, Kakinada, Kandia, Mangalore, Marmagao, Madras, Nhava Sheva, Paradeep, Tuticorin and Visakhapathnam or through any of the airports at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bombay, Calcutta, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Madras, Srinagar, Trivandrum and varanasi or through any of the inland Container Depots at Agra, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Delhi, Faridabad, Gauhati Guntur, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Kanpur, Ludhiana, Nagpur, Pimpri(Pune), Pitampur (Indore), Tirupur and Varanasi."
