PUBLIC NOTICE NO: 18/2000 Date : 7/2/2000

Simplification in procedure for movement of export Goods from Factoreis, 100% E.O.U/E.P.Z. etc. on the basis of Self-certification and reduced percentage of physical Examination-regarding.
In partial modification to the Public Notice No. 47/99 dated 9.4.99 Of Para 4 ibidm shall be substituted as under :

At the port of export including Gateway Port for Self Certification Unit, routine examination shall be dispensed. Only one out of 5 containers shall be opened for visual inspection of the content.

Therafter fom each opened container minimum of two packages a maximum of 5% Packages shall be examined.

The remaining paras of the P.N.No. 47/99 dated 9.4.99 will remain unchanged.
