Subject: Processing of EDI Shipping Bills-Reg.

Attention of all Exporters, CHAs and members of the trade is invited towards Public Notice No. 42/99 dated 22/03/1999 whereunder detailed procedure for processing of EDI Shipping Bills was laid down.

As a measure of trade facilitaion it has been decided that the export goods may be registered in the Export Docks in the forenoon upto 12:30 hrs. and again in the afternoon between 15:00 hrs to 17:00hrs. on any working day. The examination and clearance of such export goods registered on a particular day in the afternoon will be ensured on the same day or latest by next day in the forenoon.
