PUBLIC NOTICE NO.38/2002

Mumbai Docks will remain open for examination and delivering of Cargo.
In view of financial year closing, it has been decided to keep Mumbai custom House, open on 30.03.2002 (Saturday) and 31.03.2002 (Sunday) as per Public Notice No. 33/2002 dated 14.03.2002 issued earlier. The Custom House will function, as usual, on these days. Duty will be collected by cash department and Bank of India, Ballard Estate Branch has made special arrangement for collection of duty on both these days upto 7:00 pm on 30.03.2002 and 5.00 pm on 31.03.2002 respectively. Mumbai Docks will remain open on both days for examination and delivering of Cargo.

Trade, CHAs and all concerned are advised to make full use of this facility for payment of duty and effecting maximum clearance in the year end.
