Subject : Drawback rates under Brand Rate Fixation-disposal and Correspondence – reg.
The drawback claims under the ‘Brand Rate Heading’ are pending for decision/finalisation for long for want of fixation of Brand Rate Drawback Rate’. In order to finalise these claims, it is decided that such drawback claims should be finalised on the basis of the ‘ All Industry Drawback Rates’ fixed for such goods and the amount of drawback remitted to the exporters.

2. However, as and when the ‘Brand Rates’ are fixed and are notified in respect of such goods the exporters may file a supplementary drawback claim as per procedure for claiming additional drawback.
