Sub.: Cancellation of Prior Entry IGM No. 5215 of M.T. Stavanger Pride filed by M/s. Atlantic Shipping Pvt. Ltd.

Prior Entry I.G.M. No. 5215 of M.T. Stavanger Pride was filed on 14-03-2001 and the same was provisionally accepted vide provision (a) to Section 30(1) of the Customs Act, 1962. Even after 14 days the said vessel M.T. Stavanger Pride has not arrived.

In the circumstances, I have no option but to treat the said IGM filed provisionally only as cancelled.

In the documents all the importers and Customs House Agents and other concerned are hereby informed that the Bill of Entry noted against this provisionally IGM, in view of this cancelled on become noted. They are requested to return these Bill of Entry to the Import Department and they may claim refund of duty of paid on any such Bill of Entry.

As and when the vessel enters the territorial rate the IGM is to be filed again by the Steamer agents the importers and their Custom House Agents may be fresh Bill of Entry again the manifest which will be filed by the Steamer Agent again.
