Sub : Upward Revision of Tariff Value of Brass Scrap (all grade) – reg.

Attention of the trade, importer, CHA and other concerned is invited toward Notification No. 24/2002-Cus (NT) Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Excise & Customs, New Delhi at 1st May 2002 vide which the tariff value of Brass Scrap (all grades) has been revised with effect form 1st May, 2002.

The tariff value for Brass Scrap (all grades) has been revised upward from US$ 1030 PMT (fixed by earlier Notification No. 52/2001-Cus (NT) dated 9th Oct. 2002) to US $ 1084 PMT in terms of Section 14(2) of the Customs Act, 1962. Tariff Values of the Palm Products are unchanged.

The aforesaid changes may be brought to the notice of all concerned, for their information and necessary compliance.
