Reconciliation Statement-reg.

In connection with the finalisation of Project Imports made under PIR 1986, it has been brought to notice of the Department that even after more than 3 months of submission of "Reconciliation Statement" there has been no response from the Department for finalisation of the contract.

2. The issue has been examined in depth and it was decided that in all cases of Project Imports where the Reconciliation Statement have been submitted and even after lapse of three months importers have not received any response from the Department, they may contract Joint Commissioner (Contract Cell) or Commissioner (Imports) for speedy disposal of the case.
