Sections/Departments dealing with processing of Shipping Bills and Export Docks functioning on holidays-reg.
Attention of all Exporters/CHAs and all concerned is drawn toward holidays falling on 14th, 15th and 18th April 2003. To avoid hampering of exports on these days, it has been decided to keep Sections/Departments dealing with processing of Shipping Bills and Export Docks functioning on these days. The Shipping Bills shall be processed in group VII Exports and Export Section as usual. Export Docks at Frere Basin MOD, STP and U.B. Centre handling the work relating to examination and stuffing of the export cargo shall be working on these days.

Keeping in view the transporters strike for 10 days, it has been decided that in case strike is withdrawn by 11 th April, 2003, Section/Departments dealing with export clearance shall function on 12th April, 2003 which is otherwise a holiday.
