Sub: De- notification of RCD Area at Cotton Green Depot

The Collector of Customs vide Public Notice No. 99 dated 16.9.1988 had declared the Rail Container Depot at Cotton Green area for storing of Import and Export Cargo in Containers. As the Mumbai Port Trust has taken up the upgradation work of rail tracks at Grain Depot, they have shifted the current rake handling from Grain Depot to RCD sidings. I, K.K. Agarwal, Commissioner of Customs, Bombay in exercise of powers conferred on me under Section 8 of Cutoms Act, 1962, hereby rescind the earlier Public Notice No. 99 dated 16.09.88 cited above declaring the above said Area as Customs Area under Section 8 of the Customs, Act, 1962 with immediate effect.
