PUBLIC NOTICE NO 30/2004

Sub : Cancellation of P/E IGM No. 15785 dated 07.04.2004 of M.T. Andino Park Voy – 187 filed by M/s. Interocean Shipping (India) Pvt. Ltd.



Prior Entry IGM No. 15785 of MT Audino Park was filed on 07.04.2004 and the same was provisionally accepted vide provisions (a) to Section 30 (1) of the Customs Act, 1962. However, they have stated vide their letter dated 12.04.2004 that the IGM No. 15785 dated 07.04.2004 for item NO. 1 to 06 for the total quantity manifested is 2999.934 Mts. On account of M/s Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd and M/s General Foods Ltd. Now as the owner changed the entire bills of lading details and quantity is to be manifested is 2539.133 Mts. Only on account of M/s Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd.

In the circumstances, I have no option but to treat the said IGM filed provisionally only as cancelled.

In the circumstances, all the Importers and their Custom House Agents and other concerned are hereby informed that the bills of entry noted against this provisionally IGM, in view of this cancellation become void. They are requested to return these bills of entry to the Import department, and they may claim refund of duty if paid on any such bills of entry.

As and when the vessel enters the territorial water and the IGM is filed again by the Steamer Agent, the Importer and their Custom House Agents may filed fresh bills of entry against the manifest which will be filed by the Steamer Agent again.
