Sub: Schedule of charges to be levied at the Service Centre – Amendment of P.N. No. 141/2002 – reg.

Attention of the Importers, Exporters, Custom House Agents, Trade and all concerned is invited to the Public Notice No. 141/2002 dt, 29.11.2002 regarding schedule of charges to be levied at the Service Centres. As per the Directorate of Systems, New Delhi’s directions vide letter F. No. IV(26)/43/2003-System/881 dated 15.04.2004 following is the revised schedule of maxi mum charges to be levied at the Service Centre.

A) Non EDI Users (who get data entry done at Service Centre) i) Bill of Entry / Shipping Bill having upto five items Rs. 60/- (Rupees Sixty only)

ii) Each Additional Block of five items Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten only)

The above charges include data entry of the documents, check list printing, three free queries and printout of the assessed document and out of charge / LEO. Additional queries shall be chargeable at Rs.5/- per query. Check list will be provided free of charge till they are certified to be free of mistakes by the customer. However, in cases where the customer wants to incorporate corrections in the original declaration provided by him, checklist will be provided at an additional cost of Rs. 10/-. Any checklist in respect of remote filing or floppy submission would cost Rs. 10/-

B) ICEGATE or any other manner of Remote EDI filing, Documents submitted through floppy ( the submission of floppy would cost extra as per E below.)

i) Printing of Document - Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty only) for the first fifty pages and Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five only) for every ten subsequent pages or parts thereof ( document refers to the set of papers, which get printed in one command at any stage of processing)

ii) Query Printing - Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five only) per query

C) Amendments to Bills of Entry / Shipping Bills

i) Bill of Entry (for block of five items) - Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty only)

ii) Shipping Bill (for block of five items) - Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten only)

Every additional block of five items shall carry an amendment fee of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty only) or Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten only) as given above.

D) Processing of Manifest (IGM/EGM) - Rs. 60/- (Rupees Sixty only)
E) Floppy submission - Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten only)
F) Entry of licences - Rs. 60/- (Rupees Sixty only)
G) UAB declaration - Rs. 60/- (Rupees Sixty only)

Above instructions come into force w.e.f. 01.08.2004 and instructions contained in Public Notice No. 141/2002 dated 29.11.2002 stand modified to that extent.
