Sub : Advance Filing of Import Manifest under Section 30 of The Customs Act, 1962 – reg.

Attention of the Importers, CHAs, Shipping Agents, Steamer Agents, Shipping Lines, Consoles, Carriers, NVOCC, Multi Modal Operators, Break bulk Agents, Consolidators, Freight Forwarders, and member of Trade and all other concerned dealing with the delivery of import manifest for a vessel or an aircraft, is invited to Board’s Circular No. 30/2004 dated 16.04.2004 read with amended Section 30 of the Customs Act 1962 and further changes in following the procedure of filing of the prior Import General Manifest.

All the concerned Agencies are hereby informed that the instructions laid down in Circular No. 30/2004 dated 16.04.2004 may be followed strictly in order to ensure proper compliance.
