Designation of CPIO & Appellate Authority under the RTI Act, 2005 – reg.
Consequent upon the issue of instructions by the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) in respect of Re-designation of Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) and the Appellate Authority in CBEC vide instructions issued from F.No. 296/115/2007-CX.9 dt. 12th November, 2007, it is hereby informed to all concerned that in accordance with the provisions of Section 5(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, the following officers have been designated as CPIO and Appellate Authority within the jurisdiction of Chief Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai Zone-I, the details of which are as under:
