Designation of CPIO & Appellate authorities in CBEC Under the RTI Act, 2005-reg.
Consequent upon the issue of new Policy of the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) in respect of Redesignation of Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) and the Appellate Authority in CBEC vide Circular F.No. 296/115/2007-CX.9 dt. 12th November, 2007. It is hereby informed to all concerned that in accordance with the provisions of Section 5(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, the following officer has been designated as CAPIO within the jurisdiction of Chief Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai Zone-I, the details of which are as under :
