Reconditioning Repair and Re-engineering

6.16

EOU/EHTP/STP/BTP units may be set up with the approval of BOA to carry out reconditioning, repair, remaking, testing, calibration, quality improvement, up-gradation of technology and re-engineering activities for export in foreign currency. The provisions of paragraphs 6.8, 6.9,6.10, 6.14, 6.15 of policy and relevant paras of Chapter 6 of Handbook shall not, however, apply to such activities.
