Approval of EHTP/STP/BTP units 6.33.2

In the case of units under EHTP/STP scheme ,necessary approval/permission shall be granted by the officer designated by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology,

Department of Information Technology / Director (STPI). Similarly in case of units under BTP, necessary approval/permission shall be granted by the officer designated by the Department of Bio-Technology. However, the designated officers shall adopt the criteria for automatic approval of new units as laid down in Appendix 14-IB.
