Prior permission of the Regional Authority shall also not be required for transfer or disposal of imported goods after a period of two years from the date of import. However, transfer of imported firearms by the importer/licensee/ Authorisation holder shall be permitted only after 10 years of the date of import with the approval of the DGFT.
