IEC Format and Statements

2.9.1

The Regional Authority concerned shall issue an IEC number in the format as given in Appendix-18B. A copy of such IEC number shall be endorsed to the concerned banker (as per the details given in the IEC application form).

A consolidated statement of IEC numbers issued by the Regional Authority shall be sent to the offices of the Exchange Control Department of the RBI as given in Appendix-18D as per the statement given in Appendix-18C.
