Transferability of the DFIA

4.72

Once the export obligation is fulfilled and the required documents as stipulated in paragraph 4.68 of this Handbook has been furnished, the Regional Authority shall make the authorisation transferable subject to the conditions stipulated for this scheme. However the restricted item endorsed in the authorisation shall be allowed to be transferred only against a separate import licence/permission issued as per Foreign Trade Policy and the procedure laid thereunder.
