7. a) Explain in detail the manufacturing process involved with the help of a
flow chart in manufacturing the resultant product for which norm is
proposed to be fixed (separate sheet may please be attached). The
relevant literature or any other document may also be enclosed.

b) For Chemical products, additional information such as stepwise chemical
reactions involved with stoichiometric balance details, yields achieved
at different stages of production on molar basis for each step purity of
raw materials and export products, recovery of solvents / bye products /
co-products if any, should be given. Authentic literature in support of
above may be annexed.

c) For Engineering products, following additional information may be given.

Detailed drawings of the Items of manufacture alongwith the
justification for wastage claimed in regard to the items to be imported
and also the justification for import of particular grade /
specification / dimension etc., of the raw material applied for should
be given.
