Monthly Open House Meetings in the Office of Zonal Jt. D.G.F.T. Mumbai.

This office has introduced a number of measures to improve the efficiency of working and to increase transparency in its operations. In this regard this office has started its own web site www.dgftmumbai.nic.in with features like on line checking of application status, verification of licenses, booking interviews etc which are done online using the Internet.

Recently this office has also introduced Same Day Licensing System wherein Applicants can get all their licenses, IEC etc on the same day.

To increase interaction with trade and further it has now been decided to hold monthly Open House meetings in this office itself. It will be held on the third Friday of every Month at 4.30 pm in the Conference Room on the 2nd Floor in the Office adjacent to the Chamber of Zonal Joint DGFT. In view of the space constraint as well as to make the open houses business like it has been decided to limit participants of this open house to 30 only. Persons interested in participation in such Open Houses shall be required to submit their detailed representations at least 3 days prior to the event. In view of the limited seats, participation in the open house shall be strictly on the basis of prior conformation only.

You are requested to send representations preferably by e-mail to openhouse@dgftmum.bom.nic.in. or by post / hand-delivery to S.B.S Reddy, Joint DGFT of this office. All confirmations of participation will be intimated through E-mail or telephonically. Members of trade and industry are requested to use this opportunity to get their problems solved in an open and transparent manner and to give suggestions for enhancing the efficiency and transparency of the working of this office further. Important decisions of general relevance to the trade will be published for the benefit of the Trade on our web site.
