I have received complaints from the trade that in some case when applicants approach the respective counters for collection of licence, documents, etc. on the stipulated date they are told that the counter has not received licence/ documents/ deficiency letter in respect of their case. However, when it is enquired from the concerned section about the status of the case it is informed that the section has already sent the licence/ documents/ deficiency letter to the concerned counter. To eliminate the possibility of such complaints it has been decided that henceforth the person in charge of the counter will make the endorsement "not ready" with his/ her signature and date on the back of the receipt for the relevant application in such cases whenever the person approaching the counter with the receipt and valid identity card requests for such an endorsement.
