Attention of the trade is hereby invited to Trade Notice No. 13 dated 24.1.2000 and No.14 dated 15.2.2000 issued by this office in respect of the facility of on-line filing of applications for DEPB and Advance Licences by status holders which has been in operation for last 4 months in this office. Many status holders are availing this facility. It has now been decided to make on-line filing of applications in these two categories compulsory for all status holders w.e.f. 16th August, 2000. All status holders who have not obtained passwords for electronic filing of applications are requested to obtain passwords from this office in terms of Trade Notices referred to above and equip themselves for filing their applications on line from the above date. It is reiterated the manual applications will not be accepted from the status holders w.e.f. 16.08.2000.
