As members of Trade are already aware that they can know the status of their applications through Website of this office by accessing website www.dgftmumbai.nic.in. Now the Trade can also know the status of their applications through SMS service provided by Hutchison Max Telecom Private Ltd. (TM Orange) Efforts are being made to make such service available through other Cellular Service Providers also.

To avail this facility user may follow the instructions given below: -

Step 1:

Enter the message as

"DGFT < type first three characters of the name of the party> < Key Number>"

(e.g. for knowing the status of application of Reliance Industries with Key Number:1010187, the Message shall be DGFT REL 1010187 )
 

Step 2:

SMS on "123"

With typing of "123" the user will instantly get the status of their application including other relevant details.
