Customs appoints the Commissioner of Customs (Adjudication), Mumbai
S.O. (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and subsection (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs (Adjudication), Mumbai to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on:-
(i) the Commissioner of Customs (EP), New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai;
(ii) the Commissioner of Customs (Export), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Uran, Raigad, Maharashtra;
(iii) the Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Uran, Raigad, Maharashtra;
(iv) the Commissioner of Customs (Import), New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai;
(v) the Commissioner of Customs (Ports), 15/1, Strand Road, Custom House, Kolkata;
(vi) the Commissioner of Customs, Inland Container Depot, Tughlakabad, New Delhi;
(vii) the Commissioner of Customs (Port Import), Custom House, 60, Rajaji Salai, Chennai;
(viii) the Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise, Visakhapatnam-II, New Central Excise Building, Port Area, Visakhapatnam;
(ix) the Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Near Balaji Temple, Kandla;
(x) the Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad; and
(xi) the Commissioner of Customs (General), New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai,
for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s. Kalpataru Colours and Chemicals Limited, 101, Mandvi Navjivan, First Floor, 121/127 Kazi Sayed Street, Masjid Bunder, Mumbai 400 003 and others, issued vide, F.No. DRI/MZU/B/Inv-01/06-07, dated 19th June, 2009, by the Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Mumbai Zonal Unit, Mumbai.
