CBEC appoints adjudicating authorities for various Customs cases
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs, Inland Container Depot, Tughlakabad, New Delhi to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on-
(i) the Commissioner of Customs (Export), Jawahar Lal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Tehsil Uran, District Raigad, Maharashtra; and
(ii) the Commissioner of Central Excise, Faridabad,
for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s Abchal Impex, B-1/594, Janakpuri, Delhi 58 issued, vide DRI F.No. /25/60/2006-DZU/Part-II/3711-14, dated the 19th June, 2007, by the Additional Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Delhi Zonal Unit, B-3 & 4, 6th Floor, Paryavaran Bhawan, C.G.O. Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
