CBEC appoints Special Adjudicators for DRI cases
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (!) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Joint Commissioner of Customs, (Import), New Custom House, Mumbai, to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on,

(i) joint Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva and

(ii) Joint Commissioner of Customs (Import), Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, Mumbai

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to Ankit Javeri and Others, 348, Abdul Rehman Street, Jhaver House, 4th Floor, Mumbai 400 003 issued, vide, F. No. DRI/MZU/E/28/2006/2029 to 2035, dated the 15th March 2007, by the Joint Director, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Mumbai Zonal Unit 13, Sir Vithaldas Thakersey Marg, Opposite Pat-kar Hall, New Marine Lines, Mumbai - 400 020
