CBEC appoints Special Adjudicators for many DRI cases

Appointment of special adjudicators.- S.O. 711 (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 4 and Sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Central Excise, Goa and authorizes him to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on Commissioner of Customs, Port. Import, Chennai, for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s. RKKR Steels Limited, 403, T. H. Road, Chennai and others, issued vide, F. No. DRI/MZU/GRU/INV-02/RKKR/2005/1637 dated the 26th September, 2006 by tl1c Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Mumbai Zonal Unit, UTI House, 13 Vithal Das Thackerey Marg, New Marine Lines, Mumbai-20.
