CBEC appoints adjudicators for DRI cases

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), New Custom House, IGI Airport, New Delhi, as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed, to act as, -

(i) The Commissioner of Customs, ICD, Tughlakabad, New Delhi,
(ii) The Commissioner of Customs, Air Cargo, NCH, New Delhi,
(iii) The Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Noida, UP,
(iv) The Commissioner of Customs, CFS, Ludhiana,
(v) The Commissioner of Customs, (Import and General), NCH, New Delhi,
(vi) The Commissioner of Customs, (Import), Mundra, Gujarat,
(vii) The Commissioner of Customs, Kandla, Gujarat,
(viii) The Commissioner of Customs, (Import), Sea Port, Chennai,
(ix) The Commissioner of Customs, Customs House, Cochin and
(x) The Commissioner of Customs, NCH, Mangalore,

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to Sanjay Dogra, S/o Kamal Narayan Dogra, 652, 3rd floor, Opp. Vishal Enclave, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi and others issued, vide, DRI. F.No: 23/29/2004-DZU, dated 17th October, 2006 by the Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Delhi Zonal Unit, New Delhi.
