Notification No.56/2000-Customs(N.T.)date 21st September, 2000

S.O. (E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act,1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in thenotification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No.61/94-Customs (N.T.), dated the 21st November, 1994, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table, against serial number 15 relating to the State ofTamil Nadu, against item (c) occuring in column (3) relating to Tiruchirapalli, in column (4),for item number (a) and the entries relating thereto, the following item number and entriesshall be substituted, namely:-

"(a) Unloading of:

(i) imported goods from Sri Lanka, Sharjah and Kuwait and baggage;

(ii) gold imported under notification No. 80/97-Customs, dated the 21st October, 1997".
